The IBC and La Casita

The University of Florida offers places where people of different cultures can hang out and have a good time. Those locations are called The Institute of Black Culture (IBC) and The Institute of Hispanic/Latino Cultures (La Casita). This is what the two houses look like across University Avenue.
First, La Casita. This is the sign seen outside the house. Although it is a Hispanic Institute they welcome people of all cultures.

In the living space of La Casita, which means little house in Spanish, you can see different items representing the Hispanic culture. One of those items being the flags of different Latin countries. Do you recognize any of them?
fferent Latin countries. Do you recognize any of them? Now the IBC. This is the sign seen outside the Institute of Black Culture. Just like La Casita, they welcome people of all cultures to check it out!

This is the living space of the IBC. Today is Movie Monday for the IBC. Movie Monday is a perfect opportunity for friends to come in and enjoy a good flick.
Both of these locations invite anyone who is interested to stop by and hang out. While they are very similar, people can enrich themselves with different cultures at the two houses on campus.
